Alessandro Comerlati (1970, Verona, Italy) entered the world of business in 1988 as a professional windsurfer at first, participating in the world pro tour until 2000. Since 2001 he operates with great success in the world of commerce, a success that gave life to the “Giro Del Mondo Minimal Living and Accessories” franchise which is specialized in jewelry and innovative design items. Today “Giro del Mondo” has eight stores spread among Italy and South Africa. Inspired by other cultures and long journeys as a pro windsurfer, Alessandro became an active and creative designer, already popular with the outdoor cushions created in 2009. His latest creation, the expandpouf, was born and patented in 2011, and is destined to an international success. Alexander lives and works between Lake Garda, Cape Town and Bali.
